• About Carter Boehm

A film enthusiast from a young age, Carter Boehm handled the audio for his first film, Ask Now the Beast, at age 18. He then worked as an audio technician for the United States Army in Washington, D.C., where he provided audio networks to help amplify speeches by Lyndon B. Johnson and Richard Nixon. Additionally, Carter Boehm provided general audio services for the Pentagon.

Mr. Boehm leveraged his passion for cinema to found Ponderosa Films, a small studio that he hopes to grow into a major force in Hollywood. So far, he and Ponderosa Films have executive produced the film Broken Ghost and are currently working on Robert the Bruce, the story of a Scottish warrior who lived in the 1300s.

In addition to his film career, Mr. Boehm has broad experience in real estate development. The principal and owner of HC Land Development Company since 1998, he and his team have negotiated the acquisition of hundreds of properties in the Washington, D.C. area and have developed $150 million in raw land into finished lots.
