Carter Boehm has developed more than $150 million of raw land as the principal of HC Land Company, a Vienna, Virginia firm he established in 1998. In recent years, Carter Boehm has expanded his entrepreneurial pursuits into film production as the founder of Yellowstone Film Ranch and Ponderosa Films. Through the latter company, he has executive produced the following films.

This 2017 feature stars Scottie Thompson as a teenager escaping with her parents to Montana in search of a new life. Her old secrets continue to haunt her in her new home, along with an eerie spectral presence, in this thriller directed by Robert Gray.

Robert the Bruce

Angus Macfadyen reprises his role from 1995’s Braveheart in this historical drama, which the actor also cowrote. Costarring Mad Men star Jared Harris, Robert the Bruce picks up where the previous film left off, telling the story of how the Scottish nobleman’s battles against the English led to him becoming a national hero.

Murder at Emigrant Gulch

Richards Gray’s third feature for Ponderosa Films centers on a Montana town where a former slave arrives the same day a prospector who had just found gold is murdered. In postproduction as of the end of 2021, the western stars Tanaya Beatty, Aimee Garcia, and Thomas Jane.
