Throughout his career, he has coordinated the production of numerous films. Carter Boehm owns Yellowstone Film Ranch, which will be used to film the remainder of the Western movie Rust.

Filming is set to continue until the end of May 2023, after the first part of the movie's production was halted following a shooting incident at Bonanza Creek Ranch in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Cinematographer Halyna Hutchins died after lead actor Alec Baldwin accidentally fired a prop gun while on set.

At Yellowstone Film Ranch, security will be prioritized during the movie set, and no firearms and ammunition will be allowed into the facility. The production crew was expected to reserve approximately 150 rooms, including Airbnb rentals in Livingston. The film is expected to enhance the economic fortunes of Livingston and the entire state of Montana, as bars and restaurants are expected to enjoy improved business.
